Favourites 001

From food to flowers and a Netflix series, here are a few things I’ve been enjoying this week…

Homeslice pizza home delivery
I had no idea this was a thing until I hopefully googled it, and lo and behold, you can
actually get Homeslice pizza delivered to your door. It’s an absolute game changer – if
you’re in need of pizza but aren’t up for the wait at Homeslice or you’re just not really
feeling the hustle and bustle of the restaurant, you can still enjoy some of the best
pizza in London.

Settling into a routine
My daily life has become a bit more settled recently as I’ve lived in my flat just over
two weeks and have been at my job for nearly a month. After a spending a lot of time
hopping from one friends’ place to another and doing one internship after another I’m
v happy to have a bit more stability – and some space of my own. I finally have a

Daffodils from Jamie
Having these reminds me of the time when I went to the local garden centre with my
dad when I was little to get clay pots, before painting them and planting daffodil bulbs
in them. (I then kept watering them, expecting beautiful yellow flowers to instantly
appear, unaware of the fact that they needed months to sprout.) I can’t wait to see
them grow and having fresh flowers does so much for my mood that the price of a
bunch of flowers is a thousand per cent worth it.

Stylist home delivery
Rather than chancing it and occasionally managing to get my hands on a Stylist
magazine at a random tube station, I’ve signed up to Newsstand, so I get Stylist
delivered for £1 a week. I really like being able to stay in the loop because I
love what they do. They’re the UK’s only quality printed women’s magazine that you
can get for free. So if you like Stylist but don’t live in one of the cities where it’s
distributed, head over to Newsstand – and the great thing is you can sign up for
however many weeks you want so you’re not tied down to a yearly subscription or
anything. Yay!

Joico K Pak Shampoo
My hairdresser recommended this shampoo and I can see why. Unfortunately it isn’t
vegan, and despite not being 100% vegan myself, I’d rather my shampoo and
conditioner didn’t contain animal products. But until I find an alternative, I’m really
enjoying it. I find it makes my hair feel stronger and much less likely to matt into a
blob after a day of wearing a winter scarf, which is always nice.

Oaty Dreamy Creamy shower cream from Lush
This shower cream is the perfect companion to the good old Dream Cream hand and
body lotion. Obviously, it smells divine and it just makes the whole shower
experience that bit more dreamy. It doesn’t lather up crazy amounts but feels
luxurious and nourishing all the same.

Pancakes with Nutella and strawberries
I’m usually all about the lemon and caster sugar when it comes to pancake toppings,
but there was just something about this combo on pancake day this year that I was
loving. SO good.

The End Of The F***ing World
I’m super late to the party on this one but Jamie and I have charged through six
episodes already and it’s brilliant. The shooting, the characters and the plot make it
very addictive, not to mention the fact that each episode is just 20 minutes long. You
can see how watching a couple of episodes can get seriously out of hand… 10/10
would recommend.
